Perth - Day 5

weather - sunny and windy
temperature - 10c - 17c
itinerary - fremantle

since we went to harbour town yesterday, today we planned to go to fremantle. alhamdulillah the weather was excellent. it was sunny (nice to walk and take photos) yet it was windy (not too tiring).

we left quite early, took the shuttle to burswood train station at 910am. from then on it was the train to perth city and change platform to take the train direct to fremantle. the ticket cost us just aud3.80 per person (we didnt know it was return and bought another for our trip back to perth).

we got into fremantle at 1015am. we planned to take the hop on-hop off tram but since the weather was so nice, we walked instead.

the town was very small, we managed to get from the train station to the high street to the town hall and then on to the beach in just 2 hours (stopping for a veryyyy long time for tiza to buy her souveniours).

we had lunch at one of the seafood outlet at the harbour.

after lunch we walked for a bit and took the cat bus back to the town hall and high street for another souveniour hunting session. i was upset as one of the bags of souveniours i put down was stolen. and the theives lied to my face, saying they didnt take it. i saw under their stroller (yeah...and they had a baby too!!) the bag containing the 2 boxes of mugs i just bought. the shopkeepers were kind enought to give me a discount when i bought the mugs and amir and asyraf's clothes again. nevermind...what goes around, comes around.

we took the train back to perth at 3pm and got to the hotel by 520pm. we stopped by perth city to buy our dinners and i wanted to see if toys in australia were worth buying. they're not really. the choices were more but price-wise they're not very competitive. takpe lah...they got a lot of new clothes from our 2 day shopping sessions.
