What Did You Say?

amir has been adding new words to his very limited, but expanding vocabulary. his favourite word is still "car..." but he's alternating it with "nak..." and "daddy...". he loves to call hubby for no reason. he still hasnt been able to mouth "mummy" yet, but its ok. when people say "daddy" he would repeat "daddy..." when people say "mummy" he would also repeat "daddy..."

a few days ago, bibik was proudly showing off that amir can finally say "bibik..." hooray to bibik. she's been waiting for him to say her name. yet he still wont say mummy. yesterday, i went into the kitchen. i can see amir running kelam kabut after me, saying "bekkk..., bekkk..." i thought, great, he's calling me 'bibik'. after a few times of him membebeling, i finally realised what he was muttering. he was actually calling me "babe" which is what hubby calls me. naughty boy!! now when hubby asks "where's babe", amir would happily point to me.

i blogged a couple of weeks ago, about england and their individualistic players. read this article in one of the local papers today.
...he was critical of England's over-confidence and their inability to perform as a team. But that is a weakness he believes McClaren and his staff have also identified and are now endeavouring to put right. "In the past, in some of our performances, we never played as a team," he said. "We were all guilty of being too individual. There havent been divisions. But we had meetings with Steve and he wants us to have a club atmosphere."

aikkk stevie g...have you been reading my blog?!?!?
